Dave brings a wealth of leadership experience from his time at General Motors, Nissan North America, and Reputation.com. Dave is Executive Director and a founding member of Rochester Housing Solutions (RHS) and serves on the boards of Dutton Farm and the Judson Center.

Together with his wife, Heather, Dave helped establish RHS and SAIL (Solutions for Adult Interdependent Living), driven by their passion for creating inclusive housing opportunities. Their son, Logan, is eagerly anticipating his future home in RHS’s Walton Oaks neighborhood.

Dave holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Heather Mingle is a nurse with more than 35 years of experience and a mother of three, including her eldest son, a 33-year-old man with Autism. Throughout her husband’s career in the auto industry, Heather lived in four different regions of the country, gaining first-hand experience with diverse disability service delivery models.

For over three decades, she has led disability awareness programs for schools, churches, and community groups nationwide. These efforts, combined with her personal journey, have provided her with an in-depth understanding of the daily challenges faced by families navigating disability.
In the last 15 years, Heather has extended her expertise to nonprofit work, focusing on individuals experiencing homelessness, veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities. Today, her passion lies in advocacy and mentorship, where she works to empower and uplift those most in need.

Heather earned her BSN from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan.
Bill is a Partner and Co-Founder of Three Oaks Communities, bringing over 38 years of experience in real estate acquisition, development, finance, leasing, and management. He has held senior executive roles at leading firms including Balcor-American Express, The Related Companies, and McKinley Associates, and later founded One Eleven, Inc. to invest in student housing near the University of Michigan. In 2003, he co-founded Three Oaks Group LLC, which built a major portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties across Michigan.
Today, Bill focuses on developing inclusive residential communities through Three Oaks Communities. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
JZ is a Partner and Co-Founder of Three Oaks Communities and a Partner in Three Oaks Group LLC, where he has been active in real estate investment, development, and historic property renovation across Michigan since 1998. His work has earned recognition from the cities of Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids for contributions to historic preservation. Before his real estate career, JZ spent 11 years at Microsoft, where he led major business units and strategic projects, earning the Central Region Manager of the Year award in 1997.
JZ holds a B.A. in Accounting and Financial Administration from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Bruce is a Partner and Co-Founder of Three Oaks Communities, bringing over 40 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate development. He has held leadership roles with some of the nation’s largest apartment and home builders and has overseen every stage of the development process, from site acquisition to construction and asset management. In Michigan, he has helped develop more than 1,000 homes, including the Maple Oaks community.
Bruce holds a B.S. in Natural Resources Management and a Master’s in Urban Planning, both from the University of Michigan.
